The Bavarian International School gAG (BIS) is an international all-day school consisting of a campus in the north of Munich (in Haimhausen) and a campus in Munich-Schwabing. Around 1,200 students from more than 60 nations between the ages of 3 and 18 attend the recognized IB World School including Kindergarten. Under the motto "Believe. Inspire. Succeed", the students enjoy a holistic education with English as the language of instruction. Intercultural competence, collaborative and inspiring learning, respect, social responsibility and cosmopolitanism characterize the spirit of BIS. BIS has 240 employees, including an international faculty of 180 teachers.
